Tackett, Tina Louise, 57 of South Vienna passed away May 7, 2023 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center following a brave battle with kidney disease. She was born in Paintsville, KY on February 15, 1966, the daughter of Larry R. and Frances I. Castle. Tina received her master’s degree in early childhood development. She operated Constant Care Home Health. Tina was known for her work ethic and her love of UK basketball and Alabama football. But her greatest love and enjoyment was her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; brother-in-law Marion Samuel Sites; seven grandchildren; and her twins. Survivors include parents; husband Jeffery L. Tackett, whom he married November 3, 1990; children Joshua (Candra) Adams, Niles (Amber Blanton) Tackett, Macaylea Tackett, Taylor (Ross) Cordell, and Courtney (Casey) Gannon; brothers Larry (Tina) Castle, Chris (Denise) Castle, and Woody (Amanda) Castle; sisters Carla Sites and Sarah (Jason) Rohr; grandchildren Draven, Karson, Elijah, Alexander, Connor, Sophia, Brooklynn, Braelynn, Aubriella, Rylie, Jensen, Kyson, Taymen, Everleigh, and Kyler. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 5-7PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Tina will be on Saturday at 10:30AM in the Memorial Home.
