Wilson "Bill" H. Weikert

Wilson “Bill” H. Weikert, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022. He was born in Springfield to the late Wilson V. & Elsie Weikert. He retired from Spectra Physics and worked part-time at Studebaker Nurseries. Bill is survived by his wife of 67 years Garnet Weikert; children Mike (Kathy) Weikert, Peggy Pyle, Bill (LaRaeWeikert)  & Rod (Alice) Weikert; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters Harriet Weikert & Suan (Jack) Priser and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law Ted Pyle. A memorial service will be held at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice in honor of Bill. Expressions of sympathy may be made at trostelchapman.com
