Wilma Jean Pendergraft

Wilma Jean Pendergraft, age 89 of Enon, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025. She was born the daughter of Edward & Aline (Smith) Richards on March 13, 1936, in Springfield, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband James Pendergraft; daughter Sherrill Pendergraft; 1 granddaughter Alicia Pendergraft; siblings Shirley & Wesley Richards. Wilma is survived by her beloved son Edward (Mary) Pendergraft of North Hampton; brother Lewis “Buck” Richards; grandchildren Anna (Jason) Fitzsimmons & Marlene (Zack) Price; great grandchildren Breadon, Conner, Allen, Tanner & Zane; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, along with a host of friends. Wilma was a loving mother, grandmother, sister & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ & was a longtime member of Medway Church of Christ. She was involved with the CB community & was known all over by her handle “Crochet Hook”. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden, hosting family gatherings & crocheting. Friends & family may call on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 11AM – 12PM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral will be held at 12PM.
