His faithful and loving wife, Sue, cared for him at home up until the last two weeks of his life. At the time of his death, he was surrounded by family. Bill was born in Lenoir City, Tennessee to Paul Alvin Fritts and Jesse Allen (Gossage)Griffith on May 2,1941. Upon returning home he was employed by Dayton Tire and Rubber for many years and then later earned a degree in HVAC and electrical systems and enjoyed his employment with Reynolds and Reynolds in downtown Dayton as a maintenance man. He retired in 2006, bought property in the country and spent his days tinkering on engines and various projects around the house and yard. Bill was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer instructional advice and opinions on how to fix something.
