Wendy Marie Paugh

Wendy Marie Paugh (nee’ Bowen) age 46 of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at her residence after a two-year battle with breast cancer that lead to other illnesses. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Rosa Floyd; paternal grandmother Verna Bowen; Uncle Johnny and aunt Doris Floyd; Uncle James Floyd; and brother Chris Bowen.

Wendy is survived by her four children: Sheila Bowen; Trisha Paugh, Robyn Paugh, and Bailey Newman; parents: Jim and Frieda Bowen; brother, David (Sunny) Bowen; niece, Chelsea; and longtime companion/boyfriend, Mike Newman.

Wendy worked for Meijers for more than 10 years and for the last 7 she worked for Sutphen in Urbana. Wendy was a person who meant something to others in different ways. She was a mother, daughter, sister, and friend to name a few. She was artistically and vocally talented. She was handy and had an imagination that was effluence. Wendy was shy, but deep down she had a heart that would love from afar. She will be remembered as a person who fought her fight in life in ways to survive.

Friends & family may call on Friday, March 6, 2026 at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio from 11AM - 12PM where a Memorial Service will be held at Noon with Rev. Kenny Floyd officiating.
