Warren M. Lyon, 89, of Enon passed away in his home January 16, 2018. He was born September 17, 1928 in Loogootee, IN the son of Robert C. and Vera (Kutch) Lyon. Warren began his working career at Crowell-Collier, then became an engineer on the New York Central Railroad. He then worked for Penn Central, Conrail and retired from Amtrak. Warren was member of St. Joseph/ St. Raphael Catholic Church, the Enon Community Historical Society, I.O.O.F., and C.C.C.C. He is survived by his daughters Nancy A. Lyon of Enon, and Carolyn (Ronald) Gasho of Sanford, NC; three grandchildren James Lindsey of Bowling Green, OH, Brian (Cindy) Lindsey of Casa Grande, AZ and Erica Mitchell of North Carolina; four great grandchildren Bailey and Harley Lindsey, Kelsey Robbins and Brittany Mitchell; numerous nieces and nephews. Warren is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Anna Marie Lyon in 2015. Both he and Anna were the last of their immediate families. Warren is also predeceased by his 5 brothers, 2 sisters, and grandson Ronald Gasho, Jr. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 – 7 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The funeral procession will begin forming at the Memorial Home Friday at 9:00 AM and depart at 9:50 AM. for Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 AM. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes, Heart Fund, St. Joseph/ St. Raphael Church, Humane Society or ASPCA.
