Flannery, Wanda Lee F., 87 of Springfield passed away April 10, 2018 in the Good Shepherd Village. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on October 16, 1930, the daughter of Arthur and Eva Phillips. Wanda enjoyed playing BINGO, going shopping and working in her flower beds. But her fondest time was spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wanda retired from the Springfield Warehouse and had worked at Hubbell’s Drug Store. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Rick Flannery; sisters Maralyn Dennis, Shirley DeWitt and Sharon Hanesfeld; and brother Bob Phillips. Survivors include her husband Rufus Flannery, Jr., whom she married April 12, 1947; children Tim (Carol) Flannery and Ron (Judy) Flannery; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services to honor Wanda will be Friday at 1:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM. Entombment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions are requested to the Alzheimer’s’ Association Miami Valley Chapter 31 W Whipp Road Dayton, Ohio 45459.
