WALTER F. CHAFFIN

84, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Thursday April 27, 2017. He was born April 24, 1933 in Crossville, Tennessee the son of the late William & Sara (Rector) Chaffin. He retired from General Motors Delco. He is survived by a son, Timothy & Betty Chaffin; a daughter, Rose & Larry Winchester; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Chaffin; a son Walter Keith Chaffin; a daughter, Sharon (Greg) Eckstein; two brothers and nine sisters. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday, May 1, 2017 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
