Mundy, Vivian Angeline Miner, 93 of Springfield went to heaven on January 18, 2018 to be reunited with her husband of 73 years Cecil. She is survived by her children Sue (Roger) Davis, Judy (Johnny) Reda, Joe (Laurel) Mundy and David (Michele) Mundy and son-in-law Denny Dennis; 9 grandchildren Tammy, Chip, Bill, Marty, Roger, Matt, Lindsey, Christian and Charity; 3 step grandchildren Angie, Pam and Frank; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil; her parents; daughter Mary. Vivian was born March 19, 1924 to Myrtle (Smith) and Frank Miner in Springfield, Ohio. After Vivian and Cecil were married in March of 1942. She spent her life devoted to her husband and 5 children. She was the best wife and mother anyone could ever ask for. She had a strong faith in God which she portrayed in her life daily. Anyone who knew her knew her as one of the kindest, sweetest woman they had ever met. After Cecil’s retirement they moved to Holiday, Florida for a number of years but Vivian wanted to be back home with family and friends. She loved to garden and was an excellent cook, especially noted for her pies. Vivian was a longtime member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church and had also attended Springfield Church of Christ for a time and West Pasco Baptist Church in Holiday, Florida. Services to honor Vivian will be Saturday at 1:00PM in the Berea Bible Church 3850 Derr Road. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:00AM. Entombment will take place in the Rose Hill Mausoleum. RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
