Victoria "Tori" Chanté Fugate

Victoria “Tori” Chantè Fugate age 29 of Huber Heights passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 2, 2025. She was born the daughter of John & Alana (Lester) Coleman on August 24, 1996, in Dayton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her Maternal grandparents Allen & Doris Ruth Lester; paternal grandmother Norma J. Coleman. Tori leaves behind her loving parents; son Jasper Ivin Andrew Fugate & his father Gage Fugate; paternal grandfather Rev. Ronald Coleman; sisters Katrina (Daniel) Crespo & Malena Coleman; brothers Jonathan & Preston Coleman; best friend Tory Crispen; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, church family & a host of friends. Tori was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. Tori was a member of New Life Church, over the years she worked in many capacities but working with the children was by far her passion especially during Vacation Bible School. She was a proud graduate of Wright State University & was a member of The 67 Society, Social Work Club & Wright Day To Give. Tori was artistic, enjoyed singing, writing songs and spoken word. She will be remembered most for her joyful spirit, contagious laughter and her ability to make everyone feel included. She had a gift for turning ordinary moments into cherished memories. Jasper was her pride & joy she enjoyed taking him to the zoo, aquarium & dancing with him. Friends & Family may call on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5PM – 7PM at New Life Church 3550 Benchwood Rd. Dayton, Ohio 45414 where a funeral service will be held at 7PM with Pastor Tom Friend officiating. A private graveside service will be held on Friday.
