Terry Lee Perkins

Terry Lee Perkins, age 66, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on December 5, 2025. He was born in Springfield on March 17, 1959 to the late Vinson and Millie Perkins.

Terry is survived by his wife, Terri; step children: Charles (Christa) Casto, Crystal (George) Giannaris, and adopted son, Ivan (Amber) Dishon; grandchildren: Kily, Trinity, Melody, Denis , and Charlotte; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and double cousin Barbara Lucille Martin; as well as many dear coworkers and friends. He was also blessed to have friends who became his brother and sister, Jim and Dawn Anderson.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Terry was a member of El Bethel Temple. He also worked as a people greeter at the Bechtle Avenue Walmart for nearly 18 years. His contagious smile and positive attitude earned him People Greeter of the Year in 2003. Terry was known for his dedication to his job, his friendly smile, and his heart. He was loved by many and will be missed by those whose lives he touched.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Richards, Raff, and Dunbar Memorial Home, 838 East High Street, Springfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm. Terry will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Burial Park.
