Tammie Louise Williams

Tammie Louise Williams, 62, of New Carlisle, passed away on May 14, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on August 28, 1962, in Thousand Sticks, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Marylee Tarjan. Tammie was “obsessed” with coffee, true crime, and solving the case, watching documentaries, and learning everything she could about history. She loved attending concerts and music festivals with her son Scott and his fiancée Michelle. She and her son Jon loved watching cooking shows together, especially the Anti Chef. Tammie will be remembered by so many for her kind heart and listening ear, and many friends will surely miss their phone calls to catch up. Tammie is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Williams, son Leonard Scott Williams, and mother, Marylee Tarjan. She is survived by her father, John Tarjan; sons, Dustin Schmidt, Jon Franklin Williams; sister, Tena Kimaiyo; brother, Johnny Tarjan; niece and nephew, Zach & Jamelia, special friend and companion Jeff Crabtree, close friend Nancy Marine, and her puppy niece Lily and many other friends and family.
