Stuart A. Macdonald

Stuart A. Macdonald 73, born September 16, 1947, passed away March 19, 2021 at Springfield Regional Hospital in Springfield, Ohio. He was the son of the late Stuart B. and Lillian A. Macdonald, who passed away in 2014. Mr. Macdonald served as Mayor of Donnelsville from 1990 to 2003& had also served on city council for eight years prior to that. He worked at Super Valu and Revco drug stores before becoming self-employed. Stuart also served two years in the United States Army from 1966-1968. He is survived by his beloved wife Melanie K. Macdonald; three daughters, Tricia (David)Shope, Lisa (John) Clark, Jennifer (Lonnie) Penrose & a step daughter Jennifer (Sam) Diamond; one sister Maryanne (Robert) Foerster of New Jersey. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and several other family members and friends. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a grandson Seth Andrew Hapner.
