Steven L. Leath, Sr.

Steven L. Leath, Sr., 71, of Englewood passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017. He was born September 2, 1946 in Springfield the son of Charles III and Dorothy (Glenn) Leath. He graduated from North High School in 1965 and was employed by General Motors in Dayton for 31 years. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Naomi; his mother Dorothy of Springfield; his three children Steven (Ursula) Leath, Jr. of Lake Saint Louis, MO, Nicole Leath of Columbus, OH, and Marvin Leath; his two grandchildren Chavez Leath of Englewood and Jaydon Leath of Lake Saint Louis; his brothers Charles (Melissa) Leath IV and Anthony Leath, both of Springfield; his sister Dominique Bailey of Sierra Madre, CA; along with a niece Maria Jackson of Springfield and three nephews Tyrin Leath of San Antonio, TX, Anthony and Alex Bailey of Sierra Madre, CA. Steve is preceded in death by his father Charles; sister Thea Leath; grandson Jordan Leath and niece Beaunet Leath. Per the family’s wishes, there will be no service held. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Steve’s name to Hospice of Dayton or to the American Cancer Society. The family is being served by RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.
