Spencer L Swigart

Swigart, Spencer L., 76 of Springfield passed away August 31, 2019 in the SRMC. He was born in Trotwood, Ohio on July 7, 1943, the son of Orville and June Swigart. Spencer served his country in the Army National Guard. He retired from Navistar as an assembler. He was a member of the Church of Brethren. Spencer was known as a car enthusiasts, enjoyed writing poems, loved life to the fullest and building things. Spencer was preceded in death by his in-laws Millard and Alice Cochran. Survivors include his wife Margie J. (Cochran) Swigart; son Jason E. Swigart; brothers Daniel (Pat) Swigart and Steven (Marilyn) Swigart; sister Kelly (Roger) Oren; sister-in-law’s Linda (Ray) Winter, Millie (Steven) Force and Barbara Ann Johnson; many nieces and nephews. Services to honor Spencer will be Thursday at 2:00PM in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home with Rev. Todd Hammond officiating. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services.
