Sharon E. Yates

Sharon E. Yates age 70 of Springfield passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born the daughter of William & Elizabeth (Nier) Moore on December 18, 1950 in Springfield, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl Yates; son Little Carl Yates Jr.; brother Joseph Moore; sister Beverly Moore. Sharon is survived by her daughter Christina (Richard) Haynes of Springfield; brothers William (Hanna) Moore. Donald (Sandy) Moore, Ronald (Joan) Moore, & Larry (Sue) Moore; sisters Becky (Jack) Brakeall, Carolyn Brooks, & Marcy Ritchie; grandson Ayden Haynes; several nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. Sharon was a member of the Eagles, & the Union Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping & taking trips. She enjoyed staying up all hours of the night to watch The Walton’s, & Little House On The Prairie. More than anything she enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Friends may call on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 6PM – 8PM at Richards, Raff, and Dunbar Memorial Home 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio, where a service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 11:30AM with Pastor Richard Blevins officiating. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
