Shannon Lynn Vinje

Shannon Lynn Swanton Vinje, was born on January 20, 1970 in California. Her parents are Robert and Judy Swanton. She also has a sister Amanda Swanton. Shannon loved her parents and her sister very much. She did so much for them as she grew up. She was an amazing person with a friendly personality. Everyone she met loved her, she always had a smile on her face no matter what. She was very positive and could make any bad situation better. She got her education at Sinclair Community college and became a Dental Hygienist, she loved what she did for a living. She soon then stepped aside from her job and stayed at home with her two kids. She was an amazing wife to Paul Vinje. They were married for 20 years. Those two were inseparable they knew as soon as they talked they would get married. They met at her fathers business. They were married within three months. They then had a daughter Chloe Vinje. Chloe loved her mother dearly. They were very close and best friends. Chloe could tell anything to her mom no matter what it was. Shannon was there for Chloe when she went to college and all her major life beginnings. They also have a son Hunter Vinje. He and his mother were very close and she helped him through so much and he was always there for her when she was sick as well as Chloe. She unfortunately left her loved ones behind as she passed away on February 29, 2020. This was a very unexpected passing and her family is grieving at this time. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-5 pm, March 7, 2020 at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home with a service to follow at 5 pm.
