Sarah Ann Creel

Sarah Ann Creel, 66, of Springfield succumbed to cancer Sunday, August 19, 2018 after a nine month battle. She was born May 10, 1952 in Claysville, PA the daughter of John O. and Sarah Elizabeth (Cole) Creel. Sarah had been a Springfield resident since 2004. She had recently retired from Speedway LLC. Corporate Office and was a member of The Church of God of Springfield Ohio. Sarah is survived by six sisters Peggy (Frank) Van Dusen , CA, Virginia (David) Bergan, AR, Alice (Jerry) Nickels, MO, Ruth and Linda Creel, Springfield, and Rachel (Greg) Skocy, MO; two brothers David (Darlene) Creel, IN and John (Teresa) Creel, IN; a brother-in-law Lynn Herzog, MI; a sister-in-law Vickie Creel, IN; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister Beverly Herzog; and a brother Stephen Creel. Visitation will be Friday from 5 – 8 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME and for one hour prior to services in church. The service to honor Sarah’s life will be Saturday at 1:00 PM. in The Church of God of Springfield Ohio with Pastor Marjorie Sallee officiating. Graveside services will be Sunday at 11:00 AM. in Clayton Cemetery, Clayton, IN.
