It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sally J. Morgan, who left this world peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 7, 1949, in Springfield, Ohio, Sally was the cherished daughter of the late Richard O. and Jane H. Hennig. Her life journey carried her to New Carlisle, Ohio, where she resided and touched the lives of all who knew her with kindness and love. Sally dedicated her professional career to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, from where she retired in 2017. She was known for her love of sewing and crafts. Though Sally did not have children of her own, she was the heart of the family and beloved aunt. Her nurturing spirit was evident in her relationships with her siblings, Robyn (Virgil Hoskins) Henry and Sandra Buchanan, and her many nieces and nephews: Rick (Debbie) Hennig, Jeff (Cindy) Hennig, Brian (Ginger) Hennig, Jennifer (Sam) Lees, Amy (Scott) Benton, John Stoltz, Laura (Steve) Dent, and Leah (Alex) Gueth. She was further enriched by countless great and great-great nieces and nephews, each of whom she loved dearly. Sally is reunited with her parents; her brother, William R. Hennig; and her brother-in-law, Jim Buchanan, in eternal peace. A celebration of Sally’s life will be held Friday, June 20, 2025, at 4:00 pm at McKendree Chapel, 2025 S. Dayton-Brandt Rd., New Carlisle, OH 45344. Family, friends, and all whose lives Sally touched are invited to come together to remember her life and the love she so generously shared. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in her memory to the Animal Welfare League of Clark County. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. For those wishing to express sympathy, messages and memories can be shared at www.trostelchapman.com.
