Bethel Caudill, 99 of Springfield went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2016 in her residence. She was born in Paintsville, KY on August 22, 1917, the daughter of Lindsey and Viola Williams. During WWII Bethel worked in a parachute factory in Tipp City. Bethel was proud to be a farm wife and mother. She was very involved in the activities of her children growing up from PTA meetings to making costumes for plays. In her spare time she enjoyed playing the guitar. Bethel was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 67 years Ray Caudill; brothers Lindsey, Jr., James Haskel and Elmon Williams; sister Monica Williams. Left to cherish her memory is her son Ron Caudill; daughters Ruth J. Caudill, Brenda LaBonte and Linda S. (Ron) Cason; brother Edward Earl (Shirley) Williams; sister Betty Pelfrey; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services to honor Bethel will be Friday at Noon in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Rev. Dave Hill officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
