89, of Medway, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was born January 6, 1929 in Lawrence County, Tennessee, but called Ohio home for the last 54 years. Her parents, Harvey & Lillian (Coker) Brewer; and two sisters, Nell Kelley & Derath Dabbs preceded her in death. Her husband, Herbert Middleton also preceded her in death after 54 years of marriage. Ruth is survived by two sisters, Betty Alford & Sue Benfield, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and close friends, Mary Bailey, Phyllis Terry & Vivian Taylor. She was a member of the Christian Heritage Church in Springfield, Ohio. Visitation will be 11-1 PM Monday, July 16, 2018 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 1 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Medway Cemetery.
