MILLER, Russell Lloyd Age 87 born to Patsy McBricen & Anna U. (Hunt) Miller on December 28, 1927, departed this world September 26, 2015 at 12:20 am at Heartland Nursing Home, Indian Lake. He graduated from North Hampton High School in 1946, then attended Sinclair College. He was employed at International Harvester, 32 years at Frigidaire, and Security National Bank. He married his childhood sweetheart, Catharine Rose (Warren) on October 2, 1948. Survivors include wife of 67 years Catharine, of Indian Lake formerly of North Hampton, Ohio, Bill (Bonnie) of Huber Heights, Ohio, Chris (Cheryl) of Chesapeake, VA, Rod (Kathy) of Port Clinton, Ohio, grandchildren Chantel, Dustin, Rob, Eric, Nick, Jessica, Whitney, Hayleigh, Brice, Ella and Collin, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Russ was preceded in death by his son Dan (Doc Miller) of Indian Lake, Ohio, brothers and sister -Eugene, Roger, Howard, Lucille (Bratton) and Harry (Engle). Russell enjoyed fishing and raising worms during his many years. His greatest joy was being able to move up to Indian Lake and being able to walk out his front door and put a pole in the water. A gathering of family and friends will be held on 4 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Trostel Chapman's in New Carlisle, OH. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home with Pastor Bryon Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery.
