RUBY SMITH

86, of Medway, Ohio passed away January 12, 2021. She was born December 13, 1934 in Minefork, Kentucky the daughter of the late Jonnie Cheek & Alma Cantrell. She was a caretaker, she attended Wayside Chapel. She loved gardening, flowers, spending time with family, quilting & traveling. Her family was the world to her. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Larry) Thomas, Carolyn (Gary) Campbell, Ruby "Ellen" (Jim) Bruggeman; eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; six sisters; three brothers; a dear aunt; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Lawrence Smith; a son, Larry Smith; grandson Larry Smith Jr.; great grandson, Andrew Campbell; several brothers & sisters. Visitation will be11-12 PM Saturday, January 16, 2021 in the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 12 noon in the funeral home.
