Ruby A. Collier

March 18, 1940 — December 1, 2025

New Carlisle

With grateful hearts for a life well-lived, we celebrate the homegoing of Ruby A. Collier, an extraordinary woman of faith, who peacefully entered the presence of her Savior on Monday, December 1st, 2025, at the age of 85.

Born on March 18th, 1940, Ruby devoted her life to serving God with quiet strength, a joyful spirit, and deep love for Jesus Christ. She was a steadfast pillar at Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene, where her ministry of hospitality touched countless lives. Her warm smile, gentle hug, and sincere acceptance made everyone feel like they belonged, a testament to her deep commitment to Christ’s teachings.

Ruby's faith transcended the walls of her beloved church. Even during hospice visits, her unwavering hope and compassion led many hearts to Jesus. Her life was a beacon of encouragement and perseverance, inspiring others to find strength in faith.

A wonderful mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Ruby's legacy of kindness, prayer, and perseverance will bless generations. She is survived by her loving family, including her sons Patrick (Tracy) Collier and Jamie (Michelle) Collier; son-in-law Brad Westerman; grandchildren Brandon (Autumn), Cameron, Candice, Abbigail, Blake, Leeland, and Keaston; and great-grandchildren Everett and Madeline.

In Heaven, Ruby is joyfully reunited with those who went before her: her father Joseph Billheimer, mother Mary Elma Billheimer, husband Clyde Collier, beloved daughter Mary Westerman, son Randall Collier, brother Robert Billheimer, and sister Deborah Ray.

Her family—and all who were blessed to know her—find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, embraced by the Savior she loved so dearly. Though deeply missed, Ruby's life stands as a shining example of Christlike service, boundless love, and enduring faith.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 5-7pm at Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene.
