Roy E. Sowers, Jr.

Sowers, Jr., Roy E., 61 of Springfield passed away January 9, 2020 in the Springfield Reginal Medical Center. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on April 19, 1958, to the late Roy E. and Ruth Sowers, Sr. He enjoyed racing and was a driver at many of the local tracks in the area. He was preceded in death by his second wife Margaret Rosemary (Hanson) Sowers. Survivors include his sister Brenda (BJ) Rose; brothers Doug (Connie) Sowers and Donald (Scherry) Sowers; his first wife Carrie Sowers and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Roy will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the Memorial Home with Pastor Del Stumbo officiating.
