Roseman A. Kilcrease, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband and dear friends, on Friday, August 15, 2025. She was born on December 5, 1932, in Madisonville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Lewis and Lydia Green.
Roseman lived a long and full life marked by kindness, devotion to family, and unwavering faith. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Kilcrease, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
She will be remembered for her gentle and playful spirit, quilting, her thimble collection, her southern hospitality, and her amazing cooking skills. Her family and friends will forever treasure the many ways she touched their lives. Roseman never let anyone go hungry in her house, and all who entered her home were welcomed and accepted.
Roseman is survived by her husband Robert Kilcrease, three sons Roger (Ruth), Jeffrey and Charles (Diane), grandchildren Justin (Katherine), Brianna, Coleman, Katharine, great-grandchild Tristan, and her siblings Belva Green (Jason), Lewis (Buddy) Green (Joan), Roy Green (Alphea), and her sister-in-law, Ellie Green (wife of the late Charles Green). She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Lydia Green, and her siblings James Thomas (J.T.), Alfred, Charles, Emma Ruth, and Jerry (Michael) Green.
Visitation for Roseman will be held 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on Friday, August 22nd, at First Baptist Church at 8870 OH-571, New Carlisle, OH 45344.
The service for Roseman will follow, beginning at noon.
Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at 8200 W. National Rd, New Carlisle, OH 45344.
The family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to Doctors Without Borders, Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, or Feed America in Roseman’s name.
Any family coming into town for Roseman’s funeral is welcome to stay at Tru by Hilton at 7000 Executive Blvd. Huber Heights, OH 45424.
