Ronald Lee Grogg

Ronald Lee Grogg, 79, of Springfield passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017. He was born January 21, 1938 in Springfield, the son of Rennie Grogg and Virginia Frank. Ronald retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service, serving during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of the New Carlisle Sportsman Club. Ronald is survived by his wife of 60 years Helga; son Rick (Lisa) Grogg; daughters Debbie (Gene) Collier and Darlene Grogg; brother Douglas (Bonnie) Frank; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service to honor Ronald will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with military honors perfomed immediately following the service
