Ronald James Butler

Ronald J. Butler, age 91, of Enon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026.

Ron was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Butler.

He is survived by his loving children: Richard T. Butler (Tracey), Beth A. Tamborski (John), and Jill L. Ponti (Mark); his sister, Shirley Ball; his grandchildren, Zachary (Nicole), Jason (Jennifer), Faith, and Samantha; and his great-grandchildren, Hunter, Carson, Zoie, Theodore, Ella, and June.

Ron had a lifelong love of fishing and cars, and he was known for his remarkable ability to fix just about anything. Whether tinkering in the garage or spending time by the water, he found joy in working with his hands and sharing his knowledge with those around him.

Above all, Ron will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to his family, and the many quiet ways he showed his love. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 4, 2026, from 10-11am with the funeral to honor Ron beginning at 11:00am at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Myers Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
