Roger D. Skaggs, Sr.

Skaggs, Sr.,Roger D.,64 of Springfield died December 16, 2017. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on May 27, 1953. Roger had been a machinist with Miller Engine and Machine. He was also known for his knowledge of lawnmowers and repair. He was preceded in death by his father Junior H. Skaggs; mother Rubie K. Waller; brother Robert Lee; and grandson Dillon Rose. Roger is survived by his loving companion of 26 years Kathy Bayes; children Gerri Lynn Gannon, Starla (Rob) Cates, Roger Skaggs, Jr., Samantha Skaggs and Stacy Bayes; sisters Carolyn (David) Reynolds and Tamara (Joe) Patrick; one step sister and four step brothers; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services to honor Roger will be Wednesday at 2:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Visitation will begin at Noon. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
