Roger W. Mccullough

Roger W. McCullough, 96, of Springfield died August 3, 2016 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Clark County, Ohio on June 4, 1920, the son of A. Frank and Olive McCullough. He was a 1938 graduate of North Hampton High School and proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp during WW II. In 1980 he retired as Postmaster of the New Carlisle Post Office with 22 years of service. Roger was active in church his entire life and served in various leadership capacities. In his spare time heenjoyed doing genealogical research, working puzzles and playing golf. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty in 2012; sisters Ruth and Anna Marie McCollough and Estaline Anderson; brothers Samuel and Howard McCullough. Left to cherish his memory are his children Phil (Marta) McCullough of Atlanta and Nancy (Jim) Williams of Springfield; grandchildren Kyle McCullough, Erin McCullough, Lindsay Williams; step grandchild Dawn (Sean) Dodson; step great-grandchild Melanie Dodson; one niece Sue (Joe) Hale and 2 grand nephews. Visitation will beSundayfrom2-4 PMin the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A memorial service to honor Roger will follow at4:00PM. Private burial will take place in Ferncliff Cemetery.
