Rogene C. Jennings

JENNINGS (Rosasco, Adams), Rogene C., 75, of Springfield, was called home unexpectedly to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, November 22, 2017. She was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on February 5, 1942, to Robert L. and Geraldine M. (O’Brien) Adams. She lived in the Springfield area since 1983. She graduated from Carlisle High School and York Hospital School of Nursing in Pennsylvania. After graduating nursing school she joined the U.S. Air Force and served 10 years before receiving an Honorable Discharge and continuing her nursing career in the civilian world for a total of 44 years. She retired from nursing at Springfield’s Community Hospital in 2004. She was an active member of Christian Heritage CCCU in Springfield. She is survived by her 2 children, son, Henry P. Rosasco II (D. Melissa) and daughter, Andrea M. Rosasco, her 2 grandchildren, Tony V. Rosasco (Jessica M.) and Blaine A. Rosasco, and 1 great-grandson, Zane I. Rosasco. She is also survived by her siblings, Joe Adams, Joy Grey (Adams), twin brothers Tim (Sue) and Tom Adams as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was married to her first husband, Randall L. Rosasco, from 1964 until 2001. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2012. She was married to her second husband, Claude E. Jennings, Sr., on April 14, 2004 until he preceded her in death on January 9, 2012. She was also preceded in death by both of her parents and a younger brother. Visitation will be Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 11:00AM until time of services at 1:00PM in the Trostel Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Young officiating. Burial to follow in New Carlisle Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers/gifts that donations be made to Christian Heritage Church, 820 Victory Rd, Springfield, Ohio 45504.
