Robert W. Spahn

Robert W. Spahn, 76, of New Carlisle, OH passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017. He was born May 17, 1941 in Canton, IL, the son of the late Ralph Spahn and Virginia Spahn Vaughn. Bob retired from Navistar. He enjoyed fishing with his friends and was an accomplished woodworker. Bob is preceded in death by his wife Laquita; son Christopher Adam Spahn; and daughter Wendy Mae Spahn. He is survived by his sons Robert W. (Tina) Spahn, Jr. and Anthony J. Spahn; brothers George (Vickie) Spahn, John (Judy) Spahn and Joe (Teddy) Spahn; sister Martha (Richard) Reiter; friend and caretaker Joyce Bent; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor Bob will be Saturday at 5:00 PM in TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, OH, Pastor Jody Mutter officiating with visitation beginning at 4:00 PM.
