Rita Kay Kinworthy

Kinworthy, Rita Kay, 62 of Springfield passed away December 18, 2017 in her residence. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on October 8, 1955, the daughter of Wendell and Juanita VanGundy. She was a 1973 graduate of South High School. Rita spent many years as a merchandiser with Phillip Morris. In her spare time she loved working in her garden, flowers and making crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dennis Paul Kinworthy; and sister Cheryl Pieffer. Survivors include her children Michael (Kandy) Johnson, Mark (Yvette) Johnson and Matt (Missy) Johnson; sister Sandie McCCullum; grandchildren Tiffany, Christopher, Mikey, Dylan and James; great-grandchild Rosey. Services to honor Rita will be Saturday at 2:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00PM.
