Richard L. Thomas

Richard L. Thomas age 77 of Springfield, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Kettering Medical Center. He was born the son of Richard V. & Betty (Seaman) Thomas on December 16, 1948, in Springfield, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Barb Thomas. Richard is survived by his children Drew (Rebecca) Thomas, Gabe Thomas, Josh (Elaine) Thomas & Zach Thomas; Josh (Cristina) Reno, Chris (Tosha) Reno, and significant other Donna Taylor; brothers Steve Thomas & Garrett (Bernadette) Thomas; grandchildren Olivia, Sam, Milo, Lili, Avery, Jackson, Ella & Ashlynn, Clayton, Makenna, Aiden, Emily; Nephew Russell, niece Rachel; numerous cousins, extended family, church family & a host of friends. Richard was a loving dad, grandpa, brother, uncle & friend. He will be missed by all of those who love him. After graduating from high school he joined the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country for four years. He was later in the food & wine business along with selling cars. He was a faithful member of Fellowship Christian Church in Springfield. He enjoyed attending car shows, auctions, & attending his grandkids sporting events and piano recitals. Friends & family may call on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 10AM – 11AM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at 11AM.
