Richard Charles Green

Richard Charles Green, 85 of Medway, Ohio, passed away after a battle with cancer on April 13, 2023. He was born to the late Marion & Eva Green on November 2, 1937, in Connersville, Indiana. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Dick worked as a mechanical engineer in the Dayton area, and later owned and operated Midwest Ohio Gymnastics in Springfield where he became a mentor and father figure to many young gymnasts. He enjoyed photography and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his daughters Holly Klinger, Tennessee and Michelle (Tony) Molden, Beavercreek; grandchildren, Brandy (Preston) Dray, Zach (Andrea) Hook, Anthony (Kristie) Molden, Alexis (Cameron) Molden, Josh (Kayla) Klinger; great grandchildren, Blake Dray, Bryce Dray, Madelyn Hook & Anna Hook. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Green & brother, Marion (Bud) Green. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar and Fraley Funeral Home, 507 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle, OH, from 4-5pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
