Richard Vance Brown

Brown, Richard Vance, 91 Huber Heights passed away October 30, 2020 in the Danbury Senior Living. He was born in Sulphur Grove, Ohio on November 10, 1928, the son of Harry and Nellie Brown. Richard retired from WPAFB with 34 proud years of service as a Logistic Specialist and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was known as a quiet and kind man who dearly loved his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed eating out and watching the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jean Throckmorton. Survivors include his wife of 66 years Naomi (Shellabarger) Brown, whom he married September 11, 1954. His children Stephen (Tina Marie) Brown and Barbara (Gerry) Mason; sister Karla (Rodney) Faulkner; granddaughters Nicole and Melissa Mason; many nieces and nephews. Services to honor Richard will be Friday, November 6, 2020 at Noon in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial to follow in Enon Cemetery.
