RICHARD L. BARDEY
74, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Monday, January 15, 2018. He was born September 21, 1943 in Ft Wayne, Indiana the son of the late Louis & Lucille (Moser) Bardey. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired after 42 years from International Harvester. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Bardey; children, Connie (Chester) Cadwell, Annette (Jerry) Wolfe, Nadine (Justin) Erne, Michael Bardey; 5 grandchildren, Travis, Zachary, Ryan, Joshwa & Jessica. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Palmer. A visitation will be 2-4 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Sunday at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, Indiana with funeral services at 2 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Jefferson Chapel Sand Bank Cemetery.
