Rebecca Sue Grassie

Rebecca Sue (Williams) Grassie, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26th, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on Wednesday, November 14th, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, Beckie was a cherished resident of New Carlisle, OH, where she spent much of her life surrounded by family and friends. She was a member of the Tecumseh High School class of 1969 and a member of New Carlisle Church of the Brethren.

Beckie was a dedicated insurance agent, retiring from MetLife in 2016, known for her unwavering commitment to her clients and her community. Her warm smile and compassionate nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kristina Jones of New Carlisle, OH, and her son, James “Ben” Jones, of New Carlisle, OH. Rebecca was a proud grandmother to her three grandsons, Connor William, Parker James, and Grayson Oliver, who brought immense joy to her life.

Beckie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth Williams, and her long-time friend, John Jones. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

A memorial service to celebrate Beckie's life will be held at the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren on July 25th at 11 am. Family, friends, and all whose lives Beckie touched are invited to attend and share in the remembrance of her remarkable life. A private burial will take place at New Carlisle Cemetery.
