Raymond Adams

Raymond Adams of Dayton Ohio, went to be with the Lord on August 29th 2020.

Raymond was born on April 21, 1947 in Pikeville Ky to his late parents, mother Sophie Bell Adams and father Larkin Adams. Raymond was also greeted at the gates of heaven, by his son Stanley Ray Adams, Grandma Dixie, his brother Ersel Adams, his brother in-law Tommy Harris, Niece Jolene Hensley and Best Friend Johnny Goldick (Bat Man). Raymond was survived by his four children Rayanna Dean (Brad Dean), Douglas Adams, Wyetta Adams, Jeffery Adams, His Ex Wife mother of his children Lucy Adams, 13 grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, his two sisters Rose Mary Harris and Belvia Jean Couch(Norman), step-brother Scotty Adams,as well as a huge close family of generations of nieces, nephews and cousins deep rooted from the south.

Raymond was a simple man with a big smile and an even bigger heart. He would take in anybody, Give the shirt off his back, offer a meal and a warm place to sleep. Raymond will be missed by so many.

He will be cremated and his ashes will be laid to rest in the place he loved most. Where the air was fresh, the grass is green in the spring, the leaves are beautiful and crisp in the fall, on top of a mountain in Sizerock Ky. Down Home.
