Philip Ardean Pilcher

October 10, 1944 — March 3, 2024

Philip Ardean Pilcher 79, of New Carlisle, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2024. He was born in Marion, Indiana on October 10, 1944, to the late Harold and Mabel Pilcher but grew up in Eaton, Ohio. Philip was a veteran of The United States Navy. He was a self-taught and talented artist, working with pastels, acrylics, and woodworking. Phil valued the time he spent riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed spending time with his family and church family. Phil is survived by his wife of 42 years Elouise Pilcher; daughters, Stephanie Lacey, and Angie (Jarrod) Harrah; grandchildren Brittani Stubbs, Lauren Harrah, Adam Stubbs, Emily Harrah, Kaytlin Stubbs & Jenna Deeter; great-grandchildren Jackson Harrah, Mhylo Harrah, Lucas Harrah, Owen Stewart, Christan Deeter, Myah Basil, & Jalissa Geschwender; nieces and nephew Duretta Yoquelet, Denise Durnell & Drake Durnell and many other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by great-granddaughter Alaina Geschwender; and half-sister, Leah Joy Durnell. He will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery where military honors will be rendered. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, 1:00-3:00 pm at The Blessing Barn Venue 4405 Spence Road, Springfield, OH. Expressions of sympathy may be made at trostelchapman.com
