Peggy Ann Walker

Peggy A. Walker, 80, of New Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born on December 17, 1944, in Dayton, the daughter of the late Charles and Evah Haywood. Peggy enjoyed knitting, taking walks and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Paige Watson; brother John (Samantha) Haywood; sisters Nancy McCurdy and Pat (Ralph) Stephens; grandchildren Chelsie (Roy) Turney, Amber (Shane) Brannon, Tyler Watson, and Justin Watson; great-grandchildren Luna, Ollie, and Theodore; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law Gurrie Watson; daughter Jaimie Baker; brother Edward Haywood; and brother-in-law Roy McCurdy. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 4-5pm with a memorial service to honor Peggy beginning at 5:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
