Paul E. Shakro

Paul E. Shakro, 67, of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. He was born in Springfield, Ohio, on July 8, 1958, to the late Paul S. & Betty F. Shakro. He was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, class of 1976. Paul worked for B.F. Goodrich for over 30 years before retirement. Paul enjoyed Jeeping and was a part of the Muddy Buddys Jeep Wrangler Club. He enjoyed spending his free time hunting or on the golf course. He was a huge sports fan, cheering for the Buckeyes, Bengals, UD Flyers & Reds. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lisa Shakro, children, Bryan D. Shakro, Jason P. Shakro, & Amy (Devin) Allen; special granddaughter, Taylor Shakro; grandsons, Jeremy Wells, Jason P. Shakro, Jr.; brother, Michael (Glenna) Shakro; sister, Kathy (Lee) Carder; cousin, Skip Shakro, and many other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Madylin “Mady” I. Shakro, mother-in-law Martha Davis, brother-in-law Larry Davis, uncles, Donald Evans & Thomas Evans, and friend James “JD” Hasty. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with the service to honor Paul’s life to follow at 1 pm.
