Paul E. Packer

Paul E. Packer, age 77 of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He was born the son of Paul W. & Flo Jean (Handley) Packer on January 16, 1948, in Springfield, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his father; wife Susan in 2015; grandson Michael Packer. He is survived by his mother; son Mike (Bobbi Wilcox) Packer; daughter Kim Packer; brother Terry (Karen) Packer; sister Kathey Packer; grandchildren Caleb (Courtney) Packer, Kira (Nate Dean) Chaffin, Kali (Derek Borden) Chaffin, Kamryn Chaffin, Alanna Wilcox, Braydon Wilcox & Malachi Wilcox; great grandchildren Bailee, Aubriee, Bryson, Hudson, Baby Nate & his baby girl Amirah; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends. Paul was a loving dad, paw paw, son, brother & friend. He will be missed by all of those who love him. Paul graduated from South in 1966 & later joined the United States Army, proudly serving his country. Paul was a hot rod enthusiast. His pride & joy was his 1955 Nomad that he owned for more than 53 years. He was a Green Bay Packers fan & in his spare time he enjoyed drawing & watching the birds in his yard. Most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family. Friends & family may call on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 11AM -12PM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at noon. Immediately following the funeral service Paul will take his final ride to Vernon Asbury Cemetery where he will be rejoined with the love of his life Susan.
