Patty L. "Nanny" Miller

Miller, Patty L. "Nanny" 86, of Springfield died November 26, 2017 in her residence. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 20, 1931, the daughter of Everett and Dale Davidson. She retired from Mercy Mental Health with 20 years of service. Patty loved being outdoors, whether it was sitting in her chair or swimming at her daughters. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting and riding in a car. Nanny was preceded in death by her parents; former husband of 33 years Donald H. Miller, Sr.;son Donald H. Miller, Jr.; brother David Wykoff; sister Jane Griffitts. Survivors include her daughter Pam (Garry) Garrett; sister Shirley Griffitts; brother Jack (Judy) Wikoff; granddaughter Tonya (Chris) O’Brien; great-grandchildren Haley and Savanna O’Brien; She touched the hearts of many and she called them her "adopted" extended family. Services to honor Patty will be Thursday at 2:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Arby Conn. A gathering of family and friends will begin at Noon until time of services.
