Patricia A. Whitaker

Patricia A. (McKinster) Whitaker, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Southbrook Care Center. She was born July 13, 1935 in Woodstock, OH, the daughter of Louie B. McKinster and Effie Z. (Smith) Raines. Patricia retired from Miller Textile and loved to crochet. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Roger Whitaker, Sr.; a daughter Katherine Sue West; sisters Alice Faye and Linda Carol McKinster; and a son-in-law John W. Moore. Patricia is survived by her children Burke Elwood Light, Jr., Peggy Diane McKinster, Julia Ann Moore and Roger E. "Bud" Whitaker, Jr.; siblings Ray McKinster, Sarah Jackson, Roy (Bonnie) Raines, Jr. and Roger (Helen) Raines; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services to honor Patricia will be Friday at 1:00 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, with visitation beginning one hour prior to services.
