Orville B. Williams, 94, of Tipp City, passed away at home surrounded by family, Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was born May 21, 1924 in Paintsville, KY, the son of the late Ransom and Grace Williams. Orville was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII and later retired from BF Goodrich of Troy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and bowling. Orville is preceded in death by his wife Sylvia; daughter Deborah Jenkins; grandson James Dean Williams; great-granddaughter Ava Liskey; brothers Paul, Bobby and Ken Williams; and sister Mary Ann Williams. He is survived by his son James (Shelly) Williams; daughters Frances Freeman and Kathy Russell (Larry Stacy); brothers Richard (Kathy) Williams, Billy (Phyllis) Williams and Jack Williams; sisters Mabel Scott, Waulita Ward, Susie (James) Green and Linda (Dennis) Snelling; son-in-law Roger Jenkins; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor Orville will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.trostelchapman.com.
