Ona M. Heath

Ona M. Heath, born on December 15, 1947, in Springfield, Ohio, peacefully passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 78. A cherished resident of Enon, Ohio, Ona touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, and zest for life. Ona's lifelong journey was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and her infectious spirit that brightened the lives of those around her. She was a proud member of United Senior Services, and her enthusiasm shone through as she participated in lively games of Bingo and chair volleyball. Recently, she celebrated being featured in one of their commercials. Ona had a passion for traveling and particularly enjoyed her trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Clearwater Beach, Florida. She cherished spending quality time with her family and was known for her love of engaging conversations with her numerous friends over the phone. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Wilbert and Charlene Rapp, her beloved husband, Larry Heath, as well as her son, Tim Heath, her sister, Norma Jean Hollycross, and her brother, Tom Rapp. Ona is survived by her devoted daughter, Michelle Chavez, and cherished grandson, Jose Chavez, both of Enon. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of dear friends who will miss her deeply. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ona's life at a funeral service held at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home in Springfield, Ohio, on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the same location.
