Norma Elaine Dover

Norma Elaine Dover, 86, of New Carlisle, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on April 15, 2026. She was born on July 10, 1939, in New York, New York, to the late Louis and Frances Gilli. Norma met and married her husband, Harvey Dover, while they were stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, in 1959. She worked for many years at Lawson’s in New Carlisle, where she met her dear friend Marshall Gorby. Norma resided in New Carlise for 61 years and is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years; children, Karen Lorraine, Kenneth Lee (Brenda), Kristopher (Kimberly), daughter in law Karen Dover; grandchildren, Todd Smith, Stacie Smith, Richard Dover (Cathy), Keith Dover (Norma), Barbie Reynolds (Shaun), Katy Dover, Kameron Dover; great grandchildren, Shelby Dover, Kenny Dover, Kevin Dover, Jackson Reynolds, Teagan Reynolds, Madison Dover, Emma Dover and Andrew Dover; brother Steven Gilli; cousin Charles Gilli and many other relatives and friends. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Dover, brother Louis, and sister Arlene. Norma will be remembered for her generous spirit and quick wit. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her. Visitation with the family will be held at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
