age 40, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020. Nick was greeted in heaven by all who preceded him but God & his brother & guardian angel Tommy is who finally allowed Nick’s soul to have peace. Nick leaves his children to carry on his memory & the very best parts of him, Cody, Patience, Braden, Nicholas, Mariah & Paislee. His mother, Dru & Ron Carr, sister, Michelle Jenkins, Austin, Nathan & Jayce, sister in law, Natalie Jenkins, Emma, Ava & Tommy, devoted girlfriend, Katie Tackett and an unimaginable amount of family & friends. Nick never met a stranger and when he did they soon became a friend. Nick was a hard worker at most everything he devoted himself to. Nick previously worked for Kirby where he was a gifted & talented salesman who loved nothing more than to close the deal. Nick loved grilling out with his children & family, Ohio State & the Cleveland Browns & blaring music so loud we all wanted to go crazy. Nick loved his children, nephews & nieces and was so proud of all their accomplishments. Nick fought his challenges in a variety of ways and always held onto his faith in God even during some of his roughest moments. Nick was larger than life and will forever be cherished and missed. Our only comfort as a family is that his struggle is now over and he can finally have peace. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral service will be 11 AM Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to offset funeral expenses and to benefit his children.
