NEVA C. KOONS

96, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Thursday July 21, 2016. She was born October 19, 1919 in Santoy, Ohio the daughter of the late Clarence & Florence (Stoneburner) Sherick. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley & Lewis Kettlehake, Kathy & William Taylor, Sherry & Robert Kelly; two sons, Ted & Helen Koons, Arthur L. & Fran Koons; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; great great-grandchildren; brothers, Woodrow & Jerry Sherick; sisters, Wilma Wiles, Ruth Moorfield, Patricia Johnson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur P. Koons, grandson, Gregory Allen; brothers, Duane & Jack Sherick; and a sister, Mary Dibert. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Chapel of Peace, Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with a visitation at 9:30 in the Chapel. Arrangements by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
